P <br /> P & Z Meeting Minutes <br /> Page 2 <br /> May 3, 1988 <br /> Chairman Tourville referenced the motion made at the April 13 <br /> City Council meeting denying P & Z's recommendation to order a <br /> feasibility study for this development and tabled further <br /> discussion of Rehbein developments until the New Bbsiness portion <br /> of the meeting. <br /> Discussion of the new zoning map. It was stated that this map is <br /> a redrawing and clarification of present zoning. <br /> Members of the audience expressed concerns and asked questions: <br /> Dennis Murray, Consultant to Willy Lessard of Lake Area <br /> Utility Contracting, 6995 - 20th Avenue South <br /> - Murray stated (concerning R -3 zoning), "We want <br /> to register concern about this particular <br /> type of zoning. Lake Area wants to stay and <br /> wants to be treated fairly. We are paying <br /> taxes on totally Commercial property." <br /> Willy Lessard, Lake Area Utility Contracting, 6995 - 20th <br /> Avenue South <br /> Carol Pelton, 7178 Mill Road <br /> Gerald Rehbein, 6266 Otter Lake Road, Lino Lakes <br /> Brian Miller, City Engineer, arrived at 7:52 p.m. <br /> Discussion of Zoning map continued for quite some time. <br /> Dennis Murray asked for a recommendation from P & Z to appear at <br /> the Council level to voice Lake Area's concerns about present <br /> zoning, especially the R -3. A recommendation was given, no <br /> m„+ i n,, <br /> P & Z wants it on record that they feel the southwest corner of <br /> the zoning map is incorrect. The Bowman property is not in the <br /> MUSA boundary. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Kevin Mullens, 7000 West Shadow Lake Drive, Lino Lakes, appeared <br /> to ask for a lot split for a 30 by 50 foot parcel to be split <br /> from Lot 9, Block 12 (the Bob LaMotte property) and sold to him. <br /> He stated that this parcel makes his lot a buildable lot. <br /> Motion by Welk, second by Vermuelen to accept the lot split and <br /> make recommendation for it's approval to the City Council, with <br /> the stipulation that it be a part of the Mullens property, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br />
