Planning and Zoning <br /> Meeting Minutes <br /> Page Three <br /> May 5, 1987 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Planning and Zoning Commission of <br /> Centerville held a public hearing Tuesday, May 5, 1987 at 8:56 P.M. Present: <br /> Welk, Buesseler, Vermeulen, Lindgren, Chairman Tourville, Council liaison <br /> Robischon. <br /> The purpose was to hear all persons regarding the preliminary plat of L'Allier <br /> Estates II for the area described as: Lot 11, .Auditor's Subdivision number 47, <br /> Section 14, Township 31, Range 22,and part of Lot 1, Auditor's Subdivision <br /> number 48, Section 23, Township 31, Range 22, Anoka County. <br /> Northern States Power will put in street lights per the City's approval of monthly <br /> electricity charges. All utilities for L'Allier Estates II will be underground. <br /> Park and Recreation Committee park dedication for L'Allier Estate II was discussed. <br /> That recommendation is attached to and made part of these minutes. Commission <br /> members felt there was some merit to connecting trails within Centerville, <br /> but are not sure how it should be set up. Potential problems could be City <br /> maintenance of the trail. Also the trail as recommended by P u would have to <br /> be worked out with th Rice Creek Watershed District, as the City of Centerville <br /> ,could also need grading permits. <br /> Hearing adjourned 9:10 p.m. <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Planning and Zoning Commission of <br /> Centerville held their regular meeting on May 5, 1987 at City Hall. Chairman <br /> Tourville called the meeting to order at 9:11 P.M. Present: Buesseler, Welk. <br /> Vermeulen, Lindgren, Council liaison Robischon. <br /> Motion by Buesseler, second by Welk to accept the minutes of the April 6, 1987 <br /> and April 7, 1987 meetings, motion carried unanimously. <br /> Commission member Welk requested that the City Clerk put a copy of the monthly <br /> Receipts and Disbursements in each P &Z member packet. Clerk will do so. <br /> APPEARANCES <br /> Appearance of Donald Opp, 1745 Main Street to get advise on splitting of lot <br /> lines and to request a public hearing if necessary. 'lap of proposed splits <br /> is attached to and made part of these minutes. Commission member Buesseler <br /> requests the City Clerk recheck with the City Attorney and Building Inspector <br /> to clarify where it is stated that P &Z has to have a public hearing on splitting <br /> up and straightening out lot lines, and what are the approval requirements. <br /> Clerk will do so. <br /> Motion by Buesseler, second by Welk to hold a public hearing July 7, 1987 at <br /> 7:00 P.M. regarding lot splits and straightening of lot lines by Donald Opp, <br /> 1745 Main Street, motion carried unanimously. <br /> Appearance of Keith Kruger to get P &Z advise on height restriction of a proposed <br /> garage type building, the possibility of a Special Use Permit to allow him to <br /> operate a small business in that proposed building at 6719 Centerville Road, <br /> and to request a public hearing if necessary. He assures the Commission that the <br /> business will be part time, low key, weekends and evenings. The business will <br /> be frame and suspension repair, and welding. The garage would be 40' X 60', and <br />
