Article V <br /> MEETINGS <br /> A. MEETINGS <br /> The committee will meet once each month on the second (2nd) <br /> Tuesday of the month. However, the schedule may be amended <br /> from time to time to suit the convenience of the members. <br /> B. Special Meetings <br /> Special meetings can be held at the request of the chairperson <br /> or if a majority of the members so desire. Notification of <br /> special meetings must be made at least five (5) days in advance <br /> of the meeting date. Special meetings may consider only those <br /> items so specified in advance. <br /> C. Agenda <br /> An agenda will be prepared and mailed to all committee members <br /> at least one (1) week in advance of any meeting. <br /> D. Quorum <br /> A quorum will consist of three (3) or more members of the <br /> Parks and Recreation Committee and a majority vote of members <br /> present and voting shall decide all questions. When a quorum <br /> does not exist, the members present may proceed, but no business <br /> can be acted upon. <br /> E. Per Diem <br /> All members of the committee will receive a per diem for <br /> expenses related to attendance at the Park and Recreation <br /> Committee meetings, at the rate established by the Centerville <br /> City Council. <br /> Article VI <br /> TASK FORCES <br /> Task Forces may be appointed and charged by the Chairperson of <br /> the Park and Recreation Committee as from time to time deemed <br /> necessary. Task Forces are dissolved upon completion of their <br /> charge. <br />
