A. Off i cers <br /> The committee will elect its officers annually at the first <br /> (1st) regular meeting in a calendar year. A chairperson and <br /> a v�ce-chairperson * will be s7ected. <br /> B. Term of Office <br /> The term of office for ail afficers will be one (1) year. <br /> Each officer will be eligible for not mare than three (3) <br /> consecutive terms of office. <br /> C. Duties <br /> I. Chairperson <br /> a) to preside at meetings of the Park and Recreation <br /> Committee meetings; <br /> b) to give leadarship to the committee; <br /> c) to sign reports and other papers as authorized by <br /> the Park and Recreation Committee; <br /> d) to appoint task forces as authorized by the <br /> bylaws. <br /> II. Vice-Chairperson <br /> a) to lend support and assistance to the chairperson; <br /> b) to preside at Park artd Recreation Committee <br /> meetings in the absence of the Chairperson; <br /> c) to fill the office of chairperson, should that <br /> post become vacant, for the remainder of the <br /> unexpired term. <br /> Article V <br /> MEETINGS <br /> A. Meetings <br /> , The committee will meet once each month on the first 1st <br /> � Wednesdav of the month. However, the scheduie may be <br /> � amended from time to time to suit the convenience of the <br /> � members. <br /> 8. Special Meetings <br /> Special meetings can be held at the request of the <br /> chairperson or if a majority of the members so desire. <br />
