When a quorum does not <br /> exist, the members present may proceed, <br /> but no business can be acted upon." <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> A copy of the Park and Recreation Committee bylaws are attached <br /> to and made a part of these minutes. <br /> Motion by Drilling, second by Dixon to request the City Council <br /> as part of the 1995 budget to provide a secretary from City staff <br /> to take minutes at the monthly meetings, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> Basketball Court - Asphalt. <br /> Committee member Drilling updated the committee on the asphalt <br /> for the basketball court. The ground is drying, therefore, <br /> installation will be done shortly. <br /> Handicap Accessibility - Central Park. <br /> Committee member Larson brought up about the asphalt for <br /> wheelchair accessibility at Central Park. Public works is <br /> directed to check into options and costs and report back to the <br /> Park and Recreation Committee. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Park and Recreation Committee vacancy. <br /> Motion by Reisdorfer, second by Dixon that if the City Council <br /> approves increasing the Park and Recreation Committee to seven <br /> members, that Richard Thompson and Carol Pelton be accepted as <br /> Park and Recreation Committee members, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> Request for Use of Facilities at Central Park - North Metro <br /> Recreation Committee. <br />
