P & R MEETING MINUTES <br /> MARCH 2, 1994 <br /> PAGE TWO <br /> The Little League would like Saturday, June 4, 1994 if possible. <br /> The Little League is to check with City Hall because there may be <br /> a conflict with the Waterworks Beach Club who may have a big <br /> tournament that day. <br /> The Committee will send a field schedule to North Metro <br /> Recreation Commission to coordinate field use. <br /> Richard DeFoe, Waterworks Beach Club, brought up the question of <br /> field fees and field preparation. There may be bartering <br /> attempted here. Chairperson Dixon will follow -up. <br /> The Little League also wanted to know about use of the concession <br /> stand during the summer. <br /> Tamara Miltz- Miller, Clerk /Administrator, requested a certificate <br /> of insurance from the Centennial Little League naming the City of <br /> Centerville. <br /> Motion by Reisdorfer, second. by Dixon to allow the Little League <br /> to use the concession stand during the summer, motion carried <br /> [1 <br /> unanimously. <br /> Committee member Reisdorfer reminded the Little League to make <br /> sure the restrooms are open when the fields are used and locked <br /> up at night. <br /> The Little League indicated they will have an employee that will <br /> have responsibility for the concession stand. <br /> Orville Hughes, Public Works Director, requested a schedule of <br /> names of main contact persons. <br /> Mr. Hughes further advised that the restrooms will need to be <br /> opened and closed every night. <br /> Mr. Maher advised that the Little League will hire a person to <br /> open and close the building and chalk the fields. <br /> Carol Zoff Pelton Centerville Park and Trail Comprehensive <br /> Plan. <br /> Carol Pelton presented a draft of the Park and Trail <br /> Comprehensive Plan. Ms. Pelton briefly summarized the document. <br /> [_ <br /> Ms. Pelton noted she would like the draft "red lined" by March <br /> 15, 1994. The Park and Recreation Committee will have <br /> corrections done to the draft. Ms. Pelton further advised that <br /> she would like to see the final plan ready for adoption and <br /> distribution by early May. <br />
