Park and Recreation Committee Meeting Minutes <br /> March 4, 1992 <br /> page two <br /> The Park and Recreation Committee directs the Clerk /Administrator <br /> to direct the Public Works Director to work with Council member <br /> Pelton in preparing the soil for planting and follow up <br /> maintenance. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Trees at the Proposed Municipal Facility Site <br /> Council member Pelton mentioned again about the Park and <br /> Recreation Committee transplanting the trees from the proposed <br /> municipal facility site to the City parks. Committee member <br /> Navin will contact tree transplanting companies for pricing, <br /> picking out the trees with Council member Pelton's help and make <br /> recommendation as to where the trees should be planted. <br /> Lights at the Hockey Rink <br /> Motion by Reisdorfer, second by Navin to direct City Staff to <br /> obtain bids for the lights at the hockey rink; Based on the <br /> Rivard Electric proposal, the Park and Recreation Committee would <br /> like similar bids and <br /> - bids not using our current equipment (new lights and <br /> brackets with the old posts), <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> A copy of the Rivard Electric proposal is on file with the City <br /> Hall. <br /> p1av&round Equipment <br /> Motion by Navin, second by Reisdorfer to set the April 25, 1992 <br /> as the installation date for the playground equipment at the <br /> Water Tower Park; <br /> - each of the Park and Recreation Committee members are <br /> to recruit one (1) resident to help with the playground <br /> equipment installation; <br /> - Committee member Navin will obtains bids for timbers <br /> and sand, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> Budeet Line items <br /> Motion by Reisdorfer, second by Navin to table discussion of a <br /> the line item budget until: <br /> - determination of the exact amount of fund carry overs <br /> and park dedication fees; <br /> - and the dollar amount of maintenance to be removed from <br /> the Park and Recreation budget; <br /> - Committee member Reisdorfer is to be the Financial <br /> Liaison, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br />
