City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />November 10, 2009 <br />The City Council then discussed asphalt repair for the Church of St. Genevieve. Funding <br />options were also discussed. It was the consensus of the Council to approve moving <br /> <br />forward with the patch/repair for Sorel Street. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Broussard Vickers <br />to approve moving forward with the repair/patch for Sorel Street for the amount <br />not to exceed $14,500, funded through the Water Fund, per the approval and review <br />of the City Attorney. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />2.Request of Sedona Homes for release of Letter of Credit securing development <br />agreement <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson reviewed background information stating with the recent <br />completion of the turn lane in front of the Centerville Office Park, Sedona Townhomes, <br />LLC has completed all of the items described in the Development Agreement. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Fehrenbacher to <br />approve the request of Sedona Homes for release of Letter of Credit securing <br />development agreement. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />3.Consider acquisition of tax forfeit parcel-Outlot B, Pheasant Marsh <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson presented aerial views and background information stating <br />that the City has sixty (60) days to notify the County with the approval of the <br />classification and sale of a forfeited parcel or to notify the County acknowledging the <br />City’s desire to acquire any of the parcels. <br /> <br />The City Council discussed the forfeited parcel, trail access, possible green space and <br />developable uses. It was the consensus of the Council to direct Staff to contact Anoka <br />County regarding the purchase of the parcel. The City Council further discussed that Staff <br /> <br />would verify the development agreement. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member Paar <br />to direct Staff to contact Anoka County stating the City’s desire to purchase the tax <br />forfeit parcel-Outlot B, Pheasant Marsh. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />IX. ANNOUNCEMENTS/UPDATES <br /> <br /> <br />1.City Administrator, Dallas Larson <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson reported on the Minneapolis court case ruling in regard to <br />communication of City information being passed through personal email addresses. He <br />recommended that the City begin providing Planning and Zoning Commissioners with a <br />City email address. <br /> <br />Page 3 of 4 <br /> <br />
