<br />Planning and Zoning Minutes of July 9, 1996 <br /> <br />LaMotte stated the southwest comer of the plat is showing what can be put in the areas <br />but it also limits that property owner. <br /> <br />Mr. Nyberg stated that if builders buy lots from Gorem Development, they would need to <br />make it clear where the house needs to be placed. Mr. Gorem stated they don't just sell to <br />builders, they work with a set of them and they are made aware of the plats exceptions. <br /> <br />Mr. March stated the plat could be approved with a lot of contingencies, such as road <br />realignment/traffic issues and all the items listed in MSA's letter. <br /> <br />MOTION by Drilling, second by LaMotte to adjourn the public hearing for the preliminary <br />plat for Eagle Pass at 10:20 p.m. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />MOTION by Tourville, second by Welk to approve the meeting minutes of May 7, 1996, <br />as submitted. Motion carried, Drilling abstained. <br /> <br />MOTION by Welk, second by Tourville to approve the meeting minutes of June 17, 1996, <br />as submitted. Motion carried, Drilling abstained. <br /> <br />APPEARANCES <br /> <br />Jim Nelson, TEA Group, explained that he was proposing to mount 3 groups of 3 <br />antennas on the catwalk of the watertower. Centerville's watertower is a primary site, Mr. <br />Nelson stated. <br /> <br />Mr. March stated TEA Group is proposing a rental rate of $9,000 a year. Permits for this <br />use can be issued by the Public Works Director according to city ordinance #60. The <br />permit fees have not been set that are mentioned in this ordinance. <br /> <br />Drilling questioned the maintenance agreement. Mr. March stated the attorney's opinion <br />was that the agreement was written in the interest of the city. <br /> <br />Tourville questioned the appearance of the antennas. Mr. Nelson stated they would be <br />painted to match the water tower. Mr. Nelson also explained the power boxes or cabinets <br />located on the ground would be secured andin a locked fence. <br /> <br />Orville Hughes, 1793 Center Street, asked if it would interfere with Anoka County's <br />tower. Mr. Nelson stated they would have to do an interference study but could assure <br />that it wouldn't. <br /> <br />Mr. Nelson stated that the antennas would be up as long as the tower is standing.
