<br />Planning & Zoning Commission -- February 7, 1996 Minutes <br /> <br />Mr. Johnson asked about the designs and cost of the homes proposed in the development. <br />Goertz stated that the styles would be split entry or two stories and would be <br />approximately $150,000 with lots selling at about $30,000. <br /> <br />Mr. Johnson raised another concern for the home on lot 21, block 2. Because the <br />property boundaries in which the Johnson's own was mislead to them. Mr. Johnson stated <br />he is opposed to plat for only that reason. And although they appreciate having outlots b <br />and c deeded to them the concern for the house that would be on lot 21 would be really <br />close to their already existing home. <br /> <br />Goertz stated it is hard to determine what kind of house goes on a lot and if to many <br />restrictions are put on a lot it makes if very difficult to sell. Goertz suggested that the <br />garage be put on the north side instead of the house. <br /> <br />Tourville stated that this issue should be finalized prior to approval of the preliminary plat. <br /> <br />Wilharber queried the commission regarding any concerns for rezoning the commercial <br />property . <br /> <br />LaMotte asked about where the responsibility would lie for maintaining the berm. Goertz <br />replied that Rehbein is going to retain the title for that portion of the plat. When the <br />commercial site plan is brought before the city that new owner would be notified of the <br />responsibility. <br /> <br />Outlot D has 100,000 square feet of buildable area, that is after the mitigation and <br />easements. <br /> <br />MOTION by Welk, second by Vermeulen to adjourn the public hearing at 8:37 p.m. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING called to order. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />MOTION by Welk, second by LaMotte to approve the meeting minutes from January 9, <br />1996.
