<br />additional public protection. Dave Melby of 1986 72nd questioned the possible future <br />access, east of the property. Rehbein stated nothing is proposed. Welk closed the public <br />hearing at 8: 17 P.M. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: <br />MOTION by Vermeulen, seconded by Welk to approve the August 6, 1996 Planning and <br />Zoning minutes. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />MOTION by Vermeulen, seconded by Welk to table June 4, July 9 and September 3, <br />Planning and Zoning minutes. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS: <br />Gerald Rehbein - Preliminary plan for Willow Glen Development - <br />MOTION by Vermeulen, seconded by LaMotte to recommend Willow Glens <br />Development to the City Council for preliminary plat approval consideration, addressing <br />road width or extra parking, association agreement regarding possible rental units, <br />facilitate some type of park in the development for grandchildren, more than one tree per <br />unit, and have the City Attorney review the rules of the association. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Erkenbrack vacation of property - Welk commented since there was a public hearing and <br />there was no opposition from neighbors. <br />MOTION by Vermeulen, seconded by LaMotte to recommend the Erkenbrack vacation of <br />property to the City Council. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />Committee Report on the Comprehensive Plan Joint Meeting - Wilharber explained, some <br />updates were done to the Comprehensive Plan. The comprehensive plan was submitted to <br />the Met Council for preliminary approval. The Met Council will review and send it back <br />to the City for a Public Hearing and further updates then Met council will approve the <br />final plan. Welk questioned the flood plain map. Wilharber explained the city should be <br />receiving the revised flood plain map from FEMA. <br /> <br />ADJOURN: <br />MOTION by Vermeulen, seconded by LaMotte to closed the October 1, 1996 Planning <br />and Zoning meeting.
