The Parks and Recreation ComYnittee is not looking for a s�ecific portion of the profits from Mr. Bisek, but ra.ther, a monetary donatiom would be greatly appreciated. Ms. Lien will matify Mr. Bisek of the results of his request. Building Plans for a Goncession Stand in No. St. Faui IVIr. Peterson e�cplained he had received the blueprints from the City of No. St. Paul for a concession stand at one of their gazks. He alsa received blueprints from the City of Vadnais Heights for one of their parks. At this time, the Parks and Recreation Committee elected to table this item until further notice, until additianal informatian is abtained (DNR Grant). Wl�eels Park Mr. Peterson e�plained that Ie�Ir. Palzer had given him a list of "add-ons" for the electricai at Laurie LaMotte Park (i.e.: scareboard, light poles, gro�nding of poles, etc.). The amount of the add-ons is $8344 in addition to the original bid. Ai�er discussion the following motion was made: Mmtion by Mr. Feters�n, seconded by lYir. All in favor MOt10�1 CAPd'A@(I IdDaIIIlT10115F� Ms. Lien e�lai�ed she had ineluded a copy of an invitatian she had sent to all who had attended the Infomaational Meeting held back in October of 2000, inviting them to the upcoming Wheels Park 1VIeeting. She alsa included a copy of th� fl�er distributed at the � local convenience stores for promotion of the same meeting. Ms. Lien mentioned she had spoke with Tom Peterson (City Engine�r) regarc�..ing the status mf the concrete and electrical at LaMotte Park. According to Mr. Peterson, the concrete should be complete � by the end of June, and the electrical by the end of July. Technically, the VVheels Park could be up and running by th� mid tc� end of July, but with the Fete des Lacs C�lebration, the equipment cannot be in�stalled until after August 5`". Ms. Lien mentioned Ellen Nigon �f the White Bear Press had co�tacted her. Ms. Nigon was looking for infaaxnation regarding the Wlyeels Park (i.e.: dates, funding, staffmg, fees, �tc.). She anticipates the artieie being published on June 6�` or 13�'. 4
