i
' Council Member Broussard Vickers indicated the County would not allow it.
Mr. Lukehart inquired as to where and when residents would be asked for input on
landsca in . Council Member Broussard Vickers ex lained t
p g p hat typically would have
been heard at the first two public hearings before the Planning and Zoning Committee.
Mr. Lukehart would like to see an evergreen barrier along his property line and possibly a
fence. Mr. Drilling asked how long Mr. Lukehart's fence is. Mr. Lukehart indicated it
was 80 feet and did not quite go all the way to the corner due to the tree line. Mr.
Drilling stated if trees were added maybe there wouldn't be a need for a fence. Mr.
Drilling stated he could add trees and a fence if need be.
Mr. March suggested tabling this matter to the next Council meeting for further input on
the landscaping plan rather than having to re-notice for another meeting.
Mayor Swedberg inquired as to whether it was appropriate to have residents submit ,
written comments concerning the site plan. City Attorney Hoeft said it was appropriate
to have written resident input and procedurally it would be best to table this matter rather '
than re-notice for another meeting.
Mayor Swedberg noted Mr. Drilling has been very accommodating to resident concerns.
Mr. Drilling asked if Council tables the public hearing would it be revisited later at this
meeting.
Mayor Swedberg indicated it would be revisited later at this meeting.
Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, secanded by Council Member
Capra to continue the public hearing to January 24, 2001, at 6:00 p.m. All in favor.
Motion carried unanimouslv.
