Chicilo Homes Site Plan A� roval <br /> This item was previously discussed. <br /> 2. Lloyd Drillin�; Site Plan A� roval <br /> Council Member Broussard Vickers stated that Mr. Drilling needs to provide final details <br /> on several issues, but is comfortable with the basic information provided concerning the <br /> site plan. The final details should be addressed in the Developer's Agreement. <br /> Council Member Capra questioned whether approval of the site plan would be giving Mr. <br /> Drilling approval to commence construction on the building. Mr. Hoeft indicated site <br /> plan approval is an approval to move forward with the planning process but construction <br /> cannot start until Council approves the Developer's Agreement. Council's site pla� � <br /> approval will be contingent upon an approved Developer's Agreement. <br /> Council Member Capra questioned the time frame for finalizing the Developer's <br /> Agreement. Mr. Hoeft stated that a draft Developer's Agreement would be presented at <br /> their next meeting. <br /> Council Member Capra questioned the reason for receiving two (2) totally different site <br /> plans for approval. Mr. Drilling's plan was not as complete or detailed as Mr. Chicilo's <br /> plan. Mr. Drilling explained that the Chicilo Homes site plan is very straightforward as it <br /> is an industrial building being built in an industrial park. There is nothing about the plan <br /> that is subject to resident or Council approval. Mr. Drilling stated that if he receives <br /> approval of his site plan he will authorize the architects to prepare plans for Council that <br /> provide as much or more information as provided by Mr. Chicilo. <br /> Council Member Nelson requested that all information regarding this item be included in <br /> the packet, prior to distribution and council meeting. <br /> Council Member Travis stated he had no problem approving the site plan. He also stated <br /> that he recently received his tax statement and believes the City needs to bring more <br /> commercial development in to help with the tax base.
