' Council members and staff to attend the �VarQo Nature Park Preserve meetin at 7: 00 . m. � g P I ADMINISTRATORS REPORT Mr. March gave an update on the union negotiations and that the union employees will be voting on the Council's counter proposal and they are considering at a two-year contract. Mr. March , su�gested that a union contract update be present to the new Council members during the January 20, special meeting. Mr. March noted that two interested parties are interested in purchasing the two-acre Cedar Street Park property. Mr. March commented that he plans to discuss the issue during the special meeting. CONSENT AGENDA l. Resolution 99-03 Responsible Authority 2. Renewal of Special Use Permits 3. Renewal of Dog Kennel License Councilmember Bremner moved to a��rove the consent agenda. Councilmember Travis seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. The consensus of the Council is to authorize Mary Capra to lend the City pictures to the I Elementary School while students study Centerville history. ! Mayor Wilharber questioned a letter the City received in regards to a path/trait along the creek. Mr. March explained some residents had erroneous information. Ms. Dorn requested the City publish a monthly newsletter to keep residents abreast of pending issues and new developments. Ms. Nelson also suggested a special newsletter to cover the Minnesota Design Team (MDT) interest and ideals. Mayor Wilharber commented the cost and time that are associated with publishing a monthly newsletter would have to be investigated. ADJOURNMENT Councilmember Nelson moved to adjourn. Councilmember Sweeney seconded the motion Nlotion carried unanimouslv.
