<br />r <br />I <br />t <br /> <br />r <br /> <br />L <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #88-37 <br />RESOLUTION IMPLEMENTING CITY POLICY OF THE REPLACEMENT OF TREES <br />ON CITY PROPERTY. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Centerville met on <br />'Wednesday, April 27, 1988 at 7:00 p.m. in City Hall, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer has informed the City Council that it <br />may be possible that mature trees may be lost or damaged due to <br />the installation of a culvert on Lot 4, Block 2 Peterson's Old <br />Homestead Addition, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Lot 4, Block 2 Peterson's Old Homestead Addition is City <br />property, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council discussed the possible loss of trees on <br />City property, <br /> <br />BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that it shall <br />tree that dies or is severely damaged <br />contractor/developer on City property <br />contractor/developer with a deciduous <br />in diameter, and <br /> <br />be City policy that each <br />due to direct actions of a <br />shall be replaced by the <br />tree at least three inches <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the tree(s) shall be Ash, Linden, or <br />Maple, and <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED that the location of the tree(s) shall be <br />determined by the City of Centerville, and <br /> <br />BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that each replacement tree shall live for <br />a minimum period of twelve months. <br /> <br />Passed by this City Council this 27th day of April, 1988. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~R <br />!/1ayor <br /> <br />~/.. . <br />~ <br /> <br />;1. ~ Ii <br />~~ - <br />TaJllara It. lti'!tZ- i .;~ <br />Clerk/Treasurer <br />
