<br /> <br /> <br />Article IV <br />OFFICERS <br /> <br />A. Officers <br /> <br />The committee will elect its officers annually at the <br />first (1st) regular meeting in a calendar year. A <br />chairperson, a vice-chairperson, and a secretary will <br />be elected. <br /> <br />B. Term of Office <br /> <br />The term of office for all officers will be one (1) <br />year. Each officer will be eligible for not more than <br />three (J) consecutive terms of office. <br /> <br />C. Duties <br /> <br />I. Chairperson <br /> <br />a) to preside at meetings of the Park and Recreation <br />Committee meetings; <br /> <br />b) to give leadership to the committees <br /> <br />c) to sign reports and other papers as authorized <br />by the Park and Recreation Committee, <br /> <br />d) to appoint task forces as authorized by the <br />bylaws. <br /> <br />II. Vice-ch~irperson <br /> <br />a) to lend support and assistance to the chairperson; <br /> <br />b) to preside at Park and Recreation Committee <br />meetings in the absence of the chairperson; <br /> <br />c) to fill the office of chairperson, should that <br />post become vacant, for the remainder of the <br />unexpired term. <br /> <br />III. Secretary <br /> <br />a) will take.-a1nutea of all regular and specially <br />scheduled .eetings; <br /> <br />b) prepare .eeting ~inutes in duplicates <br /> <br />c) distribute one copy of minutes to the Committee <br />and the second copy to the City Clerk for <br />distribution to the Centerville City Council. <br />
