CITY OF GEM LAKE, MN <br />4200 Otter Lake Road <br />Gem Lake, NIN 55.110-3227 <br />Telephone 651-747-2790 <br />E-mail Cifv(agemlakeMN.org <br />Gem Lake Planning Commission Meeting <br />2 June 2009 <br />The regular meeting of the Planning Commission of Gem Lake was called to <br />order by Chairman Craig Rafferty on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at 7:09 p.m. in the <br />Gem Lake City Hall meeting room. <br />The following members were present: Chairman Craig Rafferty, Planning <br />Commission members Derek, Beth Herzog, and Dan Marier. Others that were <br />present were Mayor Bob Uzpen, Council member Jim Lindner. Other members <br />of the public were also in attendance per the sign in sheet sent around the room. <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA AND MEETING MINUTES <br />Planning Commission May Minutes: There was some miscommunication as <br />to where the Planning Commission minutes should be sent each month, so will <br />send the minutes. to Jean via email at Heritage Hall. <br />Planning Commission Agenda: Chairman Craig Rafferty asked for any <br />changes, deletions or added agenda items. None were given, so proceeded to <br />move forward with the meeting. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Comprehensive Plan: To understand what the concerns were from the letter, <br />dated December 2, 2008, that was received from the Metropolitan Council. As a <br />group the Planning Commission went through the key points brought up by the <br />Metropolitan Council. <br />Aggregate Resources: Jim Larson felt that there was no new changes to be <br />made. He feels that the update is complete for review of the aggregate resource <br />protection. No further response is necessary. <br />Aviation: The review suggests that it is complete and there will be no further <br />action. <br />Look for us on the World Wide Web at gemlakemn.org <br />
