Gem Lake City Council Meeting <br />Page 3 <br />will include replacing that catch basin drain. Will also clean out the ditch towards <br />the north end. The new bill was presented to the. City Council and after <br />discussion it was decided to go ahead with the changes and the City Council <br />gave its verbal approval. Mayor Uzpen signed the change order from SEH. <br />Fee Resolution # 2009-13: This resolution is to add fees to the City fee <br />schedule for the Pigeon and Solicitor Ordinance, as well as the Signage <br />Ordinance. New fees cover permit and inspection fees related to these new <br />Ordinances. Upon motion by Councilmember Lindner and seconded by Artig= <br />Swornley the resolution passed. A voice vote was taken: Mayor Uzpen yes, <br />Councilmember Rasmussen - yes, Councilmember Lindner — yes and <br />Councilmember Artig-Swomley — yes. Resolution # 2009-13 passes. <br />VLAMO Resolution #2009-14: It is a resolution that changes some of Gem <br />Lake's boundaries. No map was attached to the handouts and after discussion <br />from the City Council, they came to a decision to request to view the map and <br />hold a special meeting. Mayor Uzpen will request the map and will vote at the <br />special meeting. The VLAMO Resolution was tabled. <br />Delinquent Sewer Fees— Resolution # 2009-10: Any delinquent 2008 sewer <br />fees will be put on the resident's property taxes. Upon motion by Councilmember <br />Artig-Swomley and seconded by. Councilmember Lindner, Resolution #2009-10 <br />was authorized and passes. Ayes — 4, Nays — 0. <br />Delinquent Fire Inspection Fees — Resolution #2009-11: This resolution is for <br />the commerical properties that are delinquent with their yearly fire inspections. <br />Any delinquent fees would be put on the owner's property taxes. Upon motion by <br />Councilmember Rasmussen, and seconded by Councilmember Lindner, <br />Resolution #2009-11 was authorized and passes. Ayes — 4, Nays — 0. <br />Delinquent Septic Inspection Fees — Resolution #2009-12: This Resolution is <br />for the septic inspection of 2008 with added administration fee for a total of <br />$75.00. Any delinquent fees would be put on the owner's property taxes. Upon <br />motion by Councilmember Artig-Swomley and seconded by Councilmember <br />Rasmussen, Resolution #2009-12 was authorized and passes. Ayes - 4, Nays — <br />0. <br />Pigeon Ordinance #110: The Planning Commission sent this Ordinance <br />forward to the City Council for approval. Upon motion by Councilmember Artig- <br />Swomley and seconded by Councilmember Rasmussen, Pigeon Ordinance #110 <br />was authorized and passes.
