MEMORANDUM <br />Date: December 20, 2011 <br />To: City Council <br />From: Jessie Hart, Treasurer <br />Re: Proposed 2011 Operating Transfers. <br />Included in the 2011 was a $25,000 transfer to the Improvement Fund to set aside. <br />monies for future infrastructure (roads, storm water, etc.) projects to help relieve <br />property owners of potential assessments. <br />It was determined during the preparation of the 2012 budget and review of the financial <br />condition of the General Fund at the end of 2011 that there would be additional monies <br />available for transfer. <br />The proposed 2011 operating transfer of $70,000 from the e General Fund to the <br />Improvement Fund are as follows: <br />$40,000 Transfer for future infrastructure projects; <br />$10,00.0 Transfer for future treatment/prevention of Emerald Ash Borer <br />(EAB) in right-of-way trees. <br />$20,000 Transfer for future improvements/replacements at Heritage Hall. <br />The action requested is to adopt Resolution 2011-17 Approving the Transfer of Certain <br />Funds for the City of Gem Lake for 2011. <br />
