The study found that all the improvements listed in Table 1 <br />were found to be important components to the roadway system. The TH-96 <br />improvements are especially important to maintain at a high priority. The PMT 1 TMO <br />role should be to support the implementation and later to monitor the traffic patterns once <br />constructed. <br />Short Term Improvements <br />These improvements while relatively inexpensive, can have profound impacts on <br />operations and local trip patterns. The PMT / TMO should encourage their <br />implementation and monitor the overall outcomes. <br />Other Issues Areas <br />Initiatives should be begun to examine issues on TH-96 west of Centerville Road since <br />access to the highway is becoming more difficult as traffic volumes increase.
