CITY OF GEM LAKE <br />RESOLUTION NOi 2001-29 <br />17 December 2001 <br />WHEREAS, Singh 6terprises,.d/b/a Hoffman Corner`Oil (HCO), has applied for renewal of a :Retail Tobacco Products <br />Reseilers License for the period. 01 January 2.002 through 31 December 2002;.:and <br />WHEREAS; said applicant has beef similarly licensed in prior years in the City of Gem Lake: and <br />W.[iER.EAS; said applicant has operated the establishment with no incidents during:20.0i; and <br />WHEREAS, the. State Of Minnesota has. enacted legisiaiioii, reference Chapter 227 / .II.F: 117, requiring local units of <br />govemment.to.establish.or update local.ordinancesregulating retail tobacco.sales and providingfdreornpliance checks, tilecost <br />of which shall be born uy.the licensee; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has. established.a Tobacco Compliance Ordinance No..68 which became effective.28 February <br />1998. <br />NOW THERI:FORC'BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council ofthe.City ofGem Lake does hereby approve renewal of the <br />a RETAIL TOBACCO PPMUCTS RESELLERS LICENSE to S.14!i.Enterprises,. d/b!a Hoffinan Corner Oil (HC-0) for the. <br />period 01 January 2002 through 31 December 2002; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that-the.'City retains the right of revocation at: any time in the event of vioration.QfState laws <br />or City ordinances regarding the retail sale of tobacco. products.. <br />ATTEST <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by Council Member Igo and supported by Council Member Bosak and. was <br />declared adopted .on a unanimous vote of tile.
