4. A centralized water supply system will be considered for extension to various <br />locations in the community at the same time as sanitary sewers. <br />5. Storm drainage facilities will be designed to minimize additional run-off into <br />the Gem Lake basin. <br />6. Storm sewers will be required as appropriate on new streets and will be <br />introduced on some existing roads, <br />T. As the community develops a municipal building will be constructed or leased. <br />8. If a grade school is ever located within Gem Lake, its appropriate location <br />would be in the. northeast. development area of the City. <br />S. Gem Lake willattempt to develop a neighborhood oriented park as the <br />community develops. <br />Plan Amendments <br />I. It is the policy of Gem Lake to biannually review the Comprehensive <br />Municipal Plan. <br />Plan Implementation <br />1. Gem Lake has the following ordinances which are currently designed to <br />support the proposals of the Camprehensive Plan: (a) zoning ordinances, (b) <br />zubdivison: ordinance, (c) sign ordinance, and (d) building code.. <br />2. Gem Lake will consider and adopt the following additional measures for <br />Comprehensive Plan implementation as may be required by developmental <br />pressures: (a) a capital improvement plan, (b) a comprehensive water supply <br />plan, (c) a planned unit development ordinance, (d) a land alternation and <br />conservancy Ordinance, (e). .an on -site waste. disposal System and well <br />ordinance, (f) a lake -use ordinance, (g) an architectural control ordinance., (h) <br />an ordinance requiring developers to prepare project impact statements, and <br />W a housing code. <br />27 <br />
