SEVENTY - SECOND MEETING - VILLA,GE OF GEM LAB COUNCIL <br />AUGUST 17th 1965 - HOFFMANS COMRS HALL <br />1, THE MAYOR CALLED THE MEETING TO ORDER AT 8:40 em <br />2. THE CLERK CALLED THE ROLL - <br />PRESENT - H. Hoffman, Hansen, Morgan and D. Hoffman - also <br />C. Wild. <br />ABSENT - Gray and Arcand <br />3. HANSEN MOVED AND H. HOFFMIAN SECONDED THAT THE READING OF THE <br />MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING HELD DULY 20th 1965 be <br />DISPENSED WITH - All ayes. <br />4- PRESENTATIONS FROM THE FLOOR - none <br />5. REPORTS OF COMMITTEES - <br />a. Bemis, chairman of planning committee, submited vta C. Wild <br />a "Preliminary Plot plan for the Burlap Lounge by Roderick <br />Carmosin6 and dated July 16th 1965". Bemis recommends that <br />the Village Council approve this plot plan with the following <br />qualifications - <br />1. Driveways and Parking lots are to be surfaced as called <br />for in the Zoning Ordinancss. <br />2. There are not enough parking spaces indicated to meet <br />the ordinance requirements ( One spate for every 3 seats) <br />based on capacity design). Therefore it sh puld be <br />understood that Burlap Lounge will add spaces as demand <br />dictates. There appears to be plenty of room in the back <br />of the lot. <br />No specific action was taken on this recommendation p4nding <br />further inforsmtion as to the progress of the project. <br />6.
