THE CLERK READ TIIE MINUTES OF TIIE PREVIOUS MEETI"TG HELD APRIL 21st 196LI <br />AND THE SPECIAL MEETINGS HELD TIAY 7th and MAY llth 1964. Moved by Arcai d <br />and seconded by Hansen that the same be approved as read. <br />4. PRESENTATIONS FROM THE FLOOR - <br />Clarence Wild pointed out that both he and Ray Tessier are members of the <br />planning committee but neither of them had been called to confer on this <br />problem with Bemis or with the Council.He was of course -referring to the <br />Stenger special ase permit. It was pointed out to him that the matter came <br />first to Bemis as Zoning Administrator and that there had been little time <br />given to call any special meetings before the special council meeting. The <br />Council recoumended that in the future the otherx members of the planning <br />cominittee should be called in on any planning problem, but also pointed out <br />that the procedures provided for in the Zoning Ordinance r5 should be followed. <br />Stenger asked that the decision of the council be rescinded or reconsidered. <br />On advice that this would notbe done he asked if and when he might bring <br />the subject up again. Thuggh it is the belief o the council that theEir <br />decisio t ro:zst stand, <br />Arcand moved and Hansen seconded that the Clerk confer with the village <br />xzxxal: counsel to determ:the the conditions under which a denial of a speecial <br />uoe permit might be re-subm .tted. All Aye: . <br />5. REPORTS OF CO?g4ITTEES - none <br />6. UNFINISHED BUSINESS - <br />a. Art Birkeland retorted that he planned to submit final plains for his <br />new building before the July meeting. <br />7. NEW BUSINESS - <br />a. The clerk read a notice from Northern States Power Co announcing the <br />reduction in rates. <br />b. The clerk called attention to a special sewer meeting to be Meld in <br />Roserbille on May 26th, with the Ramocy County League and hoped that <br />we could have represent atioxi. <br />8Y c. The clerk was asked to look up the rules on "set-ups". <br />8. REPORTS OF VILLAGE OFFICERS - <br />a. The clerk reported that a cigarette license and a 3.2 license had been <br />issued to Earl LaBore. Moved by Hoffman and seconded by Gray chat these <br />be approved. All Ages. <br />b.
