CITY OF GEM. -LAKE <br />RESOLUTION NO.200"9 <br />20 March 2006 <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING AMENDMENTS TO ORDINANCE NO. 43F, THE ZONING <br />ORDINANCE, LAST AMENDED 15 DECEMBER 2003 WITH SAID AMENDMENTS TO <br />INCLUDE: I} DELETION OF SECTION. 18 IN IT'S ENTIRETY; .AND 2) ADDITION .OF <br />NEW SECTION .18 AS DEVELOPED BY THE GEM LAKE PLANNING COMMISSIONAND <br />ZONING ADMINISTRATORS, REVIEWEDATMULTIPLE PUB.LI.CHEARINGS BEFORE <br />THE PLANNING COMMISSION DURING 2004 AND 2005,.AND RECOMMENDED FOR <br />ADOPTION IN AUGUST, 2005 BY THE GEM LAKE PLANNING COMMISSION. <br />WHEREAS, dieCiry CounciLofthe City of Gem Lake did, in 2004, charge the Gene Lake. Planning �Commission with <br />the responsibilityofrecornmending amendments to Ordinance No. 43F, the Zoning*Ordinatice, that. -would -cause said <br />local control .to berepresentative of the..commitmen%made in the Gem Lake Comprehensive ]Municipal Plan; :and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission .brought forth- recommendations. to the City Council in. August. 2005 which, <br />while deemed incomplete in other jroposed amendment areas and in need offurther study,-1nchkded complete.text for <br />amendrnenfofSection 18 iri it's entirety; and <br />WHEREAS, the Chairman of the Gem Lake Planning Commission concurs to;-ofthisday that the recommendations for <br />amendments. proposed for Section 18, Ordinance No.. 43F have been made in accordance with the recommendations.of <br />the Planning Commission; now, -therefore, be. it <br />RESOLVED, that.the. City Council of the City of Gem Lake hereby accepts the proposed recommendation for <br />amendment of Gem Lake Ordinance No. 43F, Section 18 by deleting the entire section as shown in Ordinance No. 43F, <br />adding the.new language .as attached hereto as Section 1.8, :i4en*ing therevised ordinance as: Ordinance 430, and <br />ordering enactment of said revised .Ordinance No. 43GG.uptmpublicatiQn in the City's official newspaper; and <br />FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby ordered to publish notice ofthis adoption in summary faym.and <br />that Ordinance No: 436shall be. placed -in full force and effect on the date: of such. publication. <br />The foregoing.Resolution.was offered by Councilor Emeott and was.supported by Couricilot Bosak and was <br />declared adopted based u on the folloin .vote: <br />EMEOTI' <br />WATSON <br />RASMUSSEN ;;CHILL=TNG <br />Aye <br />Aye <br />Absent Absent <br />Ave <br />ATTLST <br />1, Frederic C.
