CITY OF GEM LAKE RESOLUTION NO. 2006-21 I9 JUNE 200E A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR. AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN- AGREEMENT BETWEEN RAMSEY COUNTY -A-ND THE CITY OF GEM LAKE FOR. DISPATCH SERVICES SUBJECT; TO THR A PPRbVAL•AS TO FORM OF THE CITY ATTORNEY This Agreement is between Ramsey *Cdtinty., a political subdivision of the..Staw tr --Min iesota ("County") and the City of Gem Lake, a municipality under the iaws-of the State of Minnesota ("City"): WHFREAS, the County is in the process of implementing; anew 800 MHz radio -communications systeir; as a subsystem to the region: wide 800 MHz system; and W14EREAS,.the County: currently operates a Public Safety Answering Point ("PSAP")/Dispatch Center, froth which dispatch services are provided for the Ramsey County Sheriff; thecities of Arden ]-Hills, Gern Lake., Little Canada, Mounds View, New Brighton, North Oaks,:Roseville,.Shore.view, and Vadnais Heiglits, and the township of White [scar (collectively, the "Contract Cities"); and WHEREAS, .the County has entered into -agreements with the City of Saint Paul -and theCity of Maplewood The consolidated dispatch operations; and WHEREAS, the County is constructing a new facility on the campus of the Ramsey County Law Enforcement Center and the. Saint Paul Police Department Headquarters to house the new: Dispatch Center far theconsolidated dispatch operrtitms. using the Connty'.s new Public Safety Communication System ("PSCS")/800 MHz: radio communications syStem;.und WHEREAS, the City, which.is one.ofthe Contract Cities, wishes to obtain dispatch services. fromAhe County from the now Dispatch Center using the new 80.0 MHz. radio communication system;. and WHEREAS, the parties have reached agreement on the. terms and.conditions for the provision of dispatch services for the City by the County; NO.W, THEREFORE, in cons ideratiomofthe,mutual promises and agreements contained herein, the parties do hereby Agree as Colle. vs; Article.].
