i <br />CITY OF GEM LAKE <br />NPDES - MS4 SWPPP <br />BMP DESCRIPTION SHEET <br />A. Unique Identification Number: 4-03-R <br />B. Name or Type of BMP: WMO Permit Program <br />C. BMP Description: As part of the Ramsey Washington Metro Watershed District (RWMWD) permit program and the Vadnais Lake Area <br />watershed Management Organization (VLAWMO) Watershed Management Plan, the City will continue working with the WMO's to ensure <br />compliance with their requirements and to support inspection and enforcement processes. In addition, the City will continue to promote the <br />BMP's described in the Ramsey County Erosion and Sediment Control Handbook. <br />D. Minimum Control Measure Addressed: Construction Site Storm Water Controls <br />E. Describe the measurable that will be used to determine success or benefits of this BMP: <br />1. Continue to work with WMO's to review compliance with all construction sites greater than 1 acre. <br />2. Request plan review and inspection results, as applicable, from RWMWD and VLAWMO annually for projects in the City. <br />F. Describe the timeline or implementation schedule for this BMP: <br />1. The City Council established a policy of referring all plans for development to the appropriate WMO for technical review and <br />comment prior to any approvals from the City. <br />2. 2004 <br />a Development plans for Hillary Farm (86 acres) were reviewed by VLAWMO with comments incorporated into Gem Lake's <br />requirements for the Developer's Agreement. <br />16 <br />
