CITY OF GEM LAKE <br />RESOLUTION NO.2006-41 <br />20 NOVEMBER-2006 <br />A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING PARTICIPATION IN A JOINT POWERS <br />AGREEMENT AMONG THE UNITS OF GOVERNMENT COMPRISING <br />THE VADNAIS LAKE AREA WATER MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION. <br />WHEREAS, the constituent units of government comprising the Vadnais Lake Area Water Management Organization <br />entered into a Joint Powers Agreement to meet the requirements of the Metropolitan Surface Water Management Act <br />in September of 1983; and <br />WHEREAS, the governmental units have now agreed that certain amendment to that document are necessary; and <br />WHEREAS, said Joint Powers Agreement will expire at the end of 2006; Now, Therefore Be It <br />RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute Joint Powers Agreement reestablishing <br />the Vadnais Lake Area Water Management Organization through December 31, 2011. <br />The foregoing Resolution was offered by Councilor Watson and was supported by Councilor Bosak and was <br />declared ado ted nasea <br />NAME <br />a poll Luc Ivii�iwii <br />EMEOTT <br />.�.�. <br />WATSON <br />RASMUSSEN <br />SCHILLING <br />BOSAK <br />VOTE <br />Aye <br />Aye <br />Aye <br />Aye <br />Aye <br />ATTEST <br />I, Frederic C.
