 Assess and report to the Commission other models and programs that may assist <br />the Commission in achieving its objectives and goals. *3/3 <br /> <br />MOTION: The following committees will be standing committees: <br /> Operations Committee <br />o The Operations Committee will assume the standard duties of an executive <br />committee in between regularly scheduled Commission meetings. That is, <br />it will take action on critical items that cannot wait until the next regularly <br />scheduled Commission meeting. This committee will meet at the call of <br />the chair. It is composed of the chair, vice -chair, the chair of any standing <br />committee of the Commission, as well as any commissioner who may <br />chose to attend. <br /> Program Planning Committee <br />o The Program Planning Committee considers and assesses various <br />programs to advance the purposes of the Human Rights Commission, and <br />makes program recommendations to the Commission for its consideration. <br />Once a program is approved the Co mmittee provides direction and <br />assistance in the execution of the program, and reports back to the <br />Commission on program results. <br /> Demographics and Diversity Committee <br />o See description above. <br /> Outreach Committee <br />o See description above. *3/3 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Note: Motions f rom committees don't require a second and will proceed to discussion and <br />consideration then a vote. <br /> <br />* Designates the committee members voting in favor of the motion and the number of <br />committee members present <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
