$46.89.
estimate.
apply.

At the 25% approach, it would be $11.72 on our present
The other general comments I said earlier would also

ACTING MAYOR JOHNSON: Are there any written statements?

MR. ANDRE: There are none.

ACTING MAYOR JOHNSON: We're now talking about project
P-83-3, Galtier Street. Does anyone care to comment on this
one?

MR. LAWRENCE KOVARIK, 2751 Galtier Street: I'm on the
corner of Galtier and Iona Lane. When they go down Iona Lane,
how many feet am I going to be paying for?

MR. HONCHELL: 2751? It will be 10% of whatever you own
along there, as long as it's less than 150 feet.

MR. STRONG: 13.4.

MR. HONCHELL: 13.4 assessable feet.

MR. STRONG: A little over 13 feet.

ACTING MAYOR JOHNSON: There will be no assessment on
Galtier Street, as I understand it - just 10% of your length
on Iona Lane.

MR. KOVARIK: When this petition came around (inaudible).
I'm against it. We went through the sewer, the water, storm
sewer - they were all emergencies and we're glad they're in.
What's the concern with this all of a sudden - this curbing?
I just don't see any emergency for it. It's a bad time - it's
a deep recession. I'm hurting. I have to vote against it.

MR. JAMES DARRELL, 2853 Galtier Street: I just want to
verify - I voted no against this - it apparently won't make
any difference any way - but the contractor is going to take
care of any driveways that they tear up? I'm going to lose
some because I'm sitting pretty high over the present level.
They'll be moving mailboxes and also, about the curb heights -
are car doors going to be slamming into those or are they
going to be low enough? I just want to verify that.

MR. HONCHELL: The contractor - as he comes through - if he
has to do work that affects your driveway - will routinely go
back to.the property line. That's the norm. If, in fact,
because you have a steeper driveway or something and we have
to go an extra five feet or eight feet or whatever - to make
the grades all match out well - that would also be included as
part of the project. As far as the mailboxes - they will be -
as far as part of the project - to be honest with you, I'm
not sure, in this particular contract, whether we're going to

-2-
