a small sum. I do day care ir. my home. Do you have any idea
what an inconvenience this is going to be for my three sets of
parents who have to come in and out of that street probably
more times than we as homeowners will have to do? This is
going to be a big inconvenience for them and I realize that,
but I'm also trying to think of the benefits of the street and
curbs and gutters when it has been put in. I realize this is
a very personal affair for everybody and if more people are
opposed, maybe we shouldn't have it done. I'm a little bit
upset and I have talked just a little bit with some of the
other people. I do know some people changed their minds from
the original petition to the second one. I have admitted to
several people - I've talked to several of your Council
members and the Mayor included - I would have been one of the
first ones up there to sign Mr. Lunzer's original petition if
I had not been as involved as I have been, if I thought all I
was getting for $800.00 was curbs and gutters, I would have
been the first one to knock on his door and sign that petition.
I felt it was very misleading. I feel maybe, possibly some
of those people changed their minds on that basis. I realize
Mr. Lunzer intended for it - he felt that was all we'd be
getting for the money, but he presented it in such a way that
it sounded like all we were getting was curbs and gutters. I
just felt like it could have been a little more truthful. If
that's what he intended - I understand that - but I just felt
like it could have been worded a little bit better. Possibly
some people changed their minds (inaudible).

CAROL DAVY, 2818 Galtier: (Inaudible) in front of our
home and we have told several of the people - but I am making
it official - we are not planning on moving. We are going to
be taking the sign down as soon as we are around enough to
call the people and tell them to come and get it. (Inaudible)
I'll be home more after that date. The other thing I wanted
to say was in answer to whether or not the petition was mis-
leading. It was not misleading to me. I believe that the
petition - the original one that came around - said curb and
gutter and bituminous street. Curb and gutter was listed
first. There wasn't any misunderstanding about any of it -
t~at it was the street and the curb and the gutter. Thank you.
I am opposed.

MRS. CAROL COLLIGNON, 2827 Galtier: We are one of the
owners of the three that had not signed either petition. We
didn't sign the first one because we were opposed. The
second one we didn't sign because we were out of state. I
just want you to know that we are opposed.

MAYOR DEMOS: Is there anyone else that wishes to be
heard?

MR. PHILLIP STOKES, 2777 Galtier: We've lived there
since July of 1962 and I guess I agree with Mr. Reis. We've

-9-
