MULHAGEN: Well, I might be out of order but I practically
rive there almost. As you remember right now our property before
we gave it to the City went out into the center of the street.
The street actually curved to the west. So even if the street is
made 44 feet wide the people on the west side are going to get
more lawn than they presently have.

HONCHELL: That's part of, I guess, what we were trying to
do. You're right.

MULHAGEN: So, I think it would be less of a hardship on the
people on the other side of the street even if we parked on both
sides.

HONCHELL: Okay. I understand you. As far as the number of
cars, realistically, you are going to have to figure 45 to 30
feet because you have to back in back and forth. ,What's the
length on that Doug? Are those 120-J30 foot lots? Assuming
they are 130, the first block north of Roselawn you have
something in the magnitude of 130 plus 90 is 220. Divide it and
turn it about 7 spaces, give or take. There are some driveways
\
out there too.

MAYOR: There are some driveways out there?

HONCHELL: Yah, that's right too. There are some driveways
so maybe you could get five spaces. You have to leave room for
people to enter and exist. No, she's right. Probably a maximum
of five. If you go on to the next block you wouldn't have quite
the corner prOblem so maybe you could get as many as 7. You
might be talking 10 to 12.

VOICE: 16.

HONCHELL: You've got driveways and corners you don't want to
park too close to.

VOICE: Is there any place in the City where we could allow
that and still be able to park on Sundays?

HONCHELL: Oh ya, we have specific parking bans. Specific
hours like that.

MAYOR: Well, on Sunday morning I don't think the theater
opens till what, close to noon or what have you? I mean, the
only traffic going down Fernwood on a Sunday is either going to
the shopping center or the theater. I can't see how on Sunday
morning you would have that much traffic. I guess I would
almost, and it should be daylight, you don't have any predawn
services there, do you?

MULHAGEN: Last weekend.

-7-
