HONCHELL: I'm not certain of it on your specific lot but we
have a list of things that have to be done by the contractor and
things like that are included, such as cracked driveways, etc.
that the contractor has to repair and he has been notified that
he has to do it. What is your address?

Man: 2771 N. Farrington.

HONCHELL: I don't know if that's on the list or not. Mr.
Strong would you check it?

STRONG: Yes it is.

DEMOS: Anybody else? Anyone else want a hearing. If not
I'll bring it to a close.

ANDRE: Maybe what we could do is approve them all at the
end.

DEMOS: Ok, we'll approve them all at the end.

DEMOS: We will then move on to another hearing for P-82-25
Transit Avenue to Brooks Avenue to Chatsworth Street - paving.
P-82-27 Oxford Street to Brooks Avenue to south of Transit Avenue
- paving. P-82-29 Chatsworth Street to Brooks Avenue to Transit
Avenue - paving. P-82-30 Transit Avenue to Chatsworth Street to
Churchill Street - paving.

HONCHELL: Once again this is a consolidated project that
has been put together for the individual streets. You can see
where they are on the overhead, and those of you involved know
where you live. The same comments I made on the last improve-
ments are applicable here. This is a residential street 32
feet wide, 7 ton design capacity with curbs and gutters. Once
again the project came in well under the feasibility study. If
you have any questions, I would be glad to answer them.

DEMOS: Any communications, questions or comments from the
Council?

ANDRE: No.

DEMOS: Mr. Deans?

DEANS: Mayor and members of the Council, the total cost of
this project is $145,916.87. There are 3,832.8 assessable feet
which would be at an assessed rate of 38.07 if fully assessed.
Under the Council's policy of only assessing 25%, it will be
assessed at a rate of $9.52 per foot. $36,488.22 will be
received from special assessments and $109,428.65 from general
taxes to be assessed over a IS year period at a rate that we
recommend of 10.S%, with the 30 day prepayment provision.
