The total cost is
SI82,680. Of that, 85-8 is about $150,660, 85-10 is $32,020.
Now, the street portion of this, the total
cost is $127,349.87. The R-l and R-2 assessable footage is
2,417.1 feet. The tax exempt footage, which is City property,
is 83.6 feet. The cost per foot would be $50.93. That's the
combined cost with 85-8 and 85-10. The tax exempt portion
would, ot course, pay at a lOa percent rate of $50.93 per
foot. The R-l and R-2 property would be assessed at 22.5
percent as per the City policy for a cost of $11.46 -per foot.
The storm sewer portion of this project has a
total cost of $55,330. There are 28 units. The cost would be
$l,976 per unit. Twenty-five percent of that cost would be
assessed for a cost of $494 per unit to be assessed.
DEMOS: Okay. Any questions from the Council?
ANDRE: There is no communication on this.
DEMOS: I open these hearings to the public.
I again ask you that you come to the microphone, give the name
and address and the address of the property.
JEAN FINDORFF: 11m Jean FindorEf and I'm
married to Jim Sorenson. We live at 2622 Fisk. We originally
signed the petition, but when we signed the petition it was
represented as costing -- or we understood it to cost

DOUGHERTY & SIGS'rAD
