Green Company, and LEA Inc. <br />5.0 StaffRecommendation <br />5.1 Eased upon further analysis and reference checks of the top four environmental firms, staff <br />is recommending the selection of DADA to complete the components for the EPA <br />Demonstration Pilot for environmental assessment work. Although each of the other three <br />firms have excellent credentials and experience in canting out these types of projects, staff <br />felt that the energy of the principle contacts at DPRA, their ability to bring a full scope of <br />environmental experience in working with EPA and redevelopment projects for the cost, <br />and the completeness of their proposal made them the hest candidate for the work. <br />5.2 Staff is recommending the selection of Economic Development Services to complete the <br />community outreach labor, transit and financing aspects of the EPA Demonstration Pilot <br />based upon the qualifications of Janna King and Judith Tennehaurn in working with first <br />ring suburbs on labor, transit and economic development issues. staff felt that Economic <br />Development Services has the most experience working in the Northern first ring suburbs <br />and in particular Roseville and has a strong understanding of the Twin Lakes area and the <br />City's goals and objectives for it redevelopment. <br />6.0 Suggested Action <br />6.1 By resolution* approve the selection of DPRA for environmental consulting for work under <br />Ros eville's U.S. EPA Demonstration Pilot Grant for 'Twin Lakes Redevelopment Area and <br />authorize the City Manager and City Attorney to prepare and enter into a contract with <br />DPRA in conformance with federal contracting standards. <br />6.2 By resolution approve the selection of Economic Development Services for development <br />consulting for work under Roseville s U.S. EPA Demonstration Allot Grant for Twin Lakes <br />Redevelopment Area and authorize the City Manager and City Attorney to prepare and <br />enter into a contract with Economic Development Services in conformance with federal <br />contracting standards. <br />Prepared by Cathy Bennett (490-2241), Jeff Miller (490 -2235) <br />Attachment: Draft Resolutions QAEPAZons u 1tant RFPs1Env.
