EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br /> OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF ROSEVILLE, RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the City Council of the city of Roseville, <br /> County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, <br /> Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, the 14" day of February, 2000, at 6:30 p.m.. <br /> The following members were present: and the <br /> following members were absent: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION FOR <br /> VOLUNTEERS OF THE 2000 HOME AND GARDEN FAIR <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council encourages community participation in city-wide events <br /> and welcomes the participation and leadership of volunteers at such events; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City since 1997 has sponsored a Home and Garden Fair, as a part of its <br /> Housing Program, and as a means of reinvesting in the community; and <br /> WHEREAS, on February S,2000, the fourth annual Home and Garden Fair was held <br /> with the participation of 46 exhibitors and over 1,000 visitors to the Fair; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Roseville City Council hereby <br /> acknowledges and wishes to express their appreciation to the volunteers who successfully <br /> planned and implemented all the activities to assure the Fair's success: <br /> Members of the Home and Garden Fair Committee: <br /> Mary Bender, North Star Bank <br /> Kathy Deland, Lillie Suburban Newspapers <br /> Polly Heaton,Fairview Community Center <br /> Jim Justin, Lyndale Garden Center <br /> Lynnae LeBarron, Roseville Senior Program <br /> Karen Stimpson, Harriet Alexander Nature Center <br /> Cathy Bennett and Pat Morrison, Community Development Department <br /> and the many other volunteers who contributed the day of the 2000 Home and Garden <br /> Fair. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br /> Member and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor therof: <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> WHEREUPON, said Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted this 10 <br /> day of February, 2000. <br />
