EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL CITY OF ROSEVILLE, RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the City Council of the city of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, the 14" day of February, 2000, at 6:30 p.m.. The following members were present: and the following members were absent: RESOLUTION NO. RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION FOR VOLUNTEERS OF THE 2000 HOME AND GARDEN FAIR WHEREAS, the City Council encourages community participation in city-wide events and welcomes the participation and leadership of volunteers at such events; and, WHEREAS, the City since 1997 has sponsored a Home and Garden Fair, as a part of its Housing Program, and as a means of reinvesting in the community; and WHEREAS, on February S,2000, the fourth annual Home and Garden Fair was held with the participation of 46 exhibitors and over 1,000 visitors to the Fair; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Roseville City Council hereby acknowledges and wishes to express their appreciation to the volunteers who successfully planned and implemented all the activities to assure the Fair's success: Members of the Home and Garden Fair Committee: Mary Bender, North Star Bank Kathy Deland, Lillie Suburban Newspapers Polly Heaton,Fairview Community Center Jim Justin, Lyndale Garden Center Lynnae LeBarron, Roseville Senior Program Karen Stimpson, Harriet Alexander Nature Center Cathy Bennett and Pat Morrison, Community Development Department and the many other volunteers who contributed the day of the 2000 Home and Garden Fair. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor therof: and the following voted against the same: WHEREUPON, said Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted this 10 day of February, 2000.
