REQUEST FOR CITY COUNCIL ACTION <br /> DATE: 02/14/00 <br /> ITEM NO: G-3 <br /> D art ent Approval: Manager Approved: Agenda Section: <br /> RECOGNITION <br /> ite Description: City of Roseville, Ci Center Task Force,Phase I F3119 <br /> 1.0 BACKGROUND <br /> 1 1 On January 25,2000, the City Center Task Force submitted its report on Phase I of the study. <br /> 1.2 The Task Force met for the past 16 months, working with consultants and staff to prepare its <br /> report. With the submission of the report, the Task Force has completed its work. <br /> 1 3 The Task Force, as appointed by the Council, consisted of the following: <br /> Keith Wietecki, Chair Scott J. Bergs <br /> Patricia Johnson Ann M. Hermes <br /> Peggy Egli Craig Klausing <br /> Donald Anderson Jan Vanderwail <br /> Perrie N. Heitler Lois Sinn Lindquist <br /> Thomas Johnson Richard Bates <br /> Joseph Smith <br /> 1.4 The Task Force has now completed its tasks and has disbanded. <br /> 2.0 STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br /> The staff recommends that the Council acknowledge the efforts of the Task Force members <br /> who participated in the preparation of the Phase I report by approving a resolution thanking <br /> the volunteers for the many hours they dedicated to developing a concept for the City Center. <br /> 3.0 SUGGESTED CITY COUNCIL ACTION <br /> By resolution, extend the City's appreciation and gratitude to the City Center Task Force <br /> members. <br /> Attachment: Resolution of Appreciation, City Center Task Force <br /> Cc: Task Force Members, Kim Way (Ellerbe Becket) <br />
