• Both parties will participate in an annual joint strategic planning retreat to review <br /> programming and identify opportunities for mutual support. <br /> • The City of Roseville Parks and Recreation Department may choose to appoint a member of <br /> its staff or an interested citizen to sit on the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center's board of <br /> erectors. <br /> • Both parties will collaborate to create community wide events with educational components, <br /> such as an annual celebration of Earth Day. <br /> • The Director of Parks and Recreation of Roseville and the Executive Director of the Wildlife <br /> Rehabilitation Center will meet at least semi-annually to review partnership direction and <br /> outcomes. <br /> * It is anticipated that Roseville citizens who are active volunteers at and/or patrons of the <br /> WRC will agree to serve on its Board of Directors,providing home-based leadership in the <br /> decades ahead. <br /> • The WRC and the City agree that there shall be no expansion of services of any type that <br /> result in a commitment of City financial resources unless specifically authorized by prior, <br /> formal agreement of the Roseville City Council. <br /> The collaborating parties are confident that the lease agreement below supports the fundamental <br /> elements of the envisioned partnership while providing all reasonable assurances to the City of <br /> Roseville as well as the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center's board of directors. <br /> 17 <br />
