Transit Village <br /> 2. Mini-Conference Center <br /> 3. Cable/TV technology center <br /> 4. County service center <br /> 5. Housing <br /> 6. Private recreation area <br /> 7. Charter schools <br /> 8. Indoor playground <br /> 9. Hone office service center <br /> 10. Day care facility <br /> 11. Indoor parr <br /> 12. Neighborhood retail <br /> 13. Community library <br /> 14. Co-generation of energy <br /> Details regarding "private recreation" uses have been discussed. How immediate are <br /> these uses--when? The private sector is limited by available land. It is not clear yet <br /> whether this is a"best fits' for the City. <br /> Transit—what things may happen in next five to ten years. LRT, commuter trains, bike <br /> pathways, a bus lane are all possible, some on the same site. <br /> Parking on the site is important. What are the possibilities for ramping. With more uses, <br /> a parking structure would be necessary. Steve Sarkozy said the Task Force must tell the <br /> city "What feels right's and are we ready for this new type of development. <br /> Kim Way reviewed the vision statement and suggested"testing" what can fit on the site, <br /> after confirming all the uses that should be incorporated as a portion of the City Center. <br /> The February Task Force meeting was an opportunity for the members to thinly big and <br /> futuristic.
