He <br /> 5 recommended a curfew from 9:00 p.m. to 6,00 a.m. for truck deliveries. He <br /> 6 objects to the volume of traffic. Acting Chair Rhody asked if this included snow <br /> 7 plowing and refuse pick-up (no). Mr. Battis said there will be more people <br /> 8 moving out of the neighborhood because the delivery vehicles will be stacked up. <br /> 9 <br /> 10 Ron Balczewski explained his frustration with review of the proposal. He asked <br /> H. what could be done to be heard by the City. Acting Chair Rhody explained the <br /> 12 rights provided both business and residential areas. <br /> 13 <br /> 14 William S. Sadler, 1370 Ryan, stated that he lives in an area with a brick, 3,500 <br /> 15 &f home, requested the planning Commission to consider the impact on the <br /> 16 neighborhood. Since the street (Ryan) has been closed, the criminal behavior has <br /> -17 declined. <br /> IS <br /> 19 Bruce weber provided pictures of flooding in the area. <br /> 0 <br /> 21 Mr. weber endorsed the concept of a curfew for deliveries, garbage pick-up, and <br /> 22 trucking. He urged the planning Commission to examine the issue of traffic in <br /> 23 and around Har Mar. He asked for an environmental impact statement. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 Jahn Ridge stated that he felt the drainage (moving south) issues have not been <br /> 26 adequately addressed. He requested that a drainage plan be completed before the <br /> 27 project is approved. Deb Bloom stated the City will look at the drainage ponds to <br /> 28 determine adequate size, no increase in impervious surface. The easements only <br /> 29 relate to the pipes in the ground; the ponds are a separate issue. A mailing to <br /> 30 interested residents with technical information would help. Could the issue be <br /> 31 reconsidered after the study is done? He agrees with Mr. weber regarding traffic <br /> c <br /> 32 and a need for an environmental study. <br /> 33 <br /> 34 Joan Porwoll, 1353 hryer, expressed concern about traffic congestion,water <br /> 35 issues, lighting, re-grading, and ponding. <br /> 36 <br /> 37 ward Schwie, 1383 west Ryan, asked why this project is not brought up to the <br /> 38 current city code requirements9 Screening? water Problem.?
