6 <br /> CITY OF ROSEVIILLE <br /> COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARMENT <br /> SPECIFICATIONS FOR DEMOLITION OF BUELDING <br /> AND SITE EVWROVEWNTS <br /> Scope of Services <br /> The contractor shall furnish all labor,materials and equipment and shall perform all services and work <br /> required to remove the remains of the listed property,structures and site improvements in strict <br /> accordance with these specifications and in accordance with City ordinances pertaining to the removal <br /> of buildings and structures. <br /> Proverty to be Demolished <br /> The building,all equipment and site improvements relating to the property at 2668 Lexington Avenue <br /> shall be removed from the site and properly disposed. <br /> Abandonment of Well <br /> The attached Well Disclosure Statement states that no well is present on the property but there is no <br /> record of proper sealing and/or abandonment of a well on fide with the City of Roseville. If a Well is <br /> found to be present it must be abandoned and sealed in accordance with specification determined by <br /> the Minnesota Department of Health( Abandonment and sealing of any wells must be <br /> completed by a well driller approved by NIDH. <br /> Environmental Issues <br /> No environmental assessment has been conducted at the property to determine if there are asbestos <br /> materials present If asbestos materials are present the contractor must notify appropriate state <br /> agencies in advance of removal/demolition. <br /> Prior to demolition of the stnictiues and site improvements,any appliances,fluorescent light ballast <br /> and chemicals should be handled and disposed of appropriately as recommended by appropriate state <br /> and federal agencies. No known hazardous materials remain on site. <br /> Permits Required <br /> The contractor shall,at the contractor's expense,obtain all required licenses and permits in relation to <br /> the demolition and site improvements. <br />
