About changing the year of Roseville local elections * Local elections should NOT be held at the same time as those for greater offices. More people do turn out for presidential elections but many do not have a clue about local candidates. I think it can be assumed that voters choose names randomly when they don't know the �.Mi d i d 4 t es. Otherwise, how do deceased individuals or some fictitious name get votes? and other such stories that have made news. So, I feel that local elections, when held by themselves, are less attended but more meaningful. It is also a farce to have judges on any ballot. I have never had the slightest inkling in this category in spite of that I believe I am more concerned than the average citizen. Local elections (or any election) could be improved by plastering the complete ballot on the front of some mailing, like the Roseviiie Wrap, that goes to all residents, just prior to elections.
