During the review of this request
and discussion of the Arby's rebuild project, the concept of extending this access
from coun ty Road B south to the flMcDonald's property has been discussed by city
staff. Having this access formalized through a City easement would be beneficial
that it would improve traffic circulation in this area and alleviate congestion on the
in t p
frontage a road. Because of existing agreements and other factors, t appears that
only I via to acquire re such an easement at this time would be through
the y t
condemnation; however, the City should continue to discuss the concept of
condemn
acquiring
such an easement voluntarily with the owners of the properties as they
redevelop.
cDonald's Corporation invited neighboring property owners to stop by McDonald"s
on Tuesda y, l=ebrua 10, 1 998, between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. A representative
of Mc
o n a Id's Corporation was there to answer questions and show the plans of
the ro osed restaurant reconstruction.
