EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the <br /> City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called held at the City Half on <br /> Monday, the 23rd day of February, 1 998, at 6:30 P.M. <br /> The following members were present: , and the following were absent: <br /> Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO, <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AN INTERIM us E PERMIT <br /> FOR CONCRETE CRUSHING & MIXING <br /> AT RAMSEY COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS YARD <br /> (LARPENTEUR AVENUE AND KENT STREET) <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1012.09 of the Roseville City Code outlines the provisions for <br /> interim uses in all zoning districts; and <br /> WHEREAS, Ramsey County's Public Works Department has requested an interim <br /> use p a rmit to allow concrete crushing and mixing operations on a portion of a 20-acre <br /> County-owned parcel loaded east of pant Street and north of La rpenteu r Avenue; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on the <br /> request on Wednesday, February 11, 1 998, and recommended approval of the requested <br /> interim use permit subject to conditions; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council received the Planning Commission IS <br /> recommendation on Monday, February 23, 1998: and <br /> WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council made the following findings: <br /> 1. The proposed interim use will not have an adverse impact on the general public <br /> health and welfare. The limited noise (assuming compliance with MPCA <br /> standards), dust(when watered), and piling of materials are not considered a public <br /> nuisance or health hazard. <br /> 2. The p roposed interim use is safe to the public. The site will be gated and erosion <br /> concerns can be corrected through an erosion control plan. <br /> 3. There will be no additional cost added to the site that would deter a permanent use <br /> of the site. <br /> Resolution__�__- Page 1 of 4 <br />
