Permit applications to appropriate bodies <br /> Inform City of suggested pad box location (Xcel <br /> Energy will not acquire easements) <br /> City of Roseville responsibilities: Ground restoration <br /> Communication with other utilities <br /> Easement acquisition <br /> Joint responsibilities: communication with property owners along the proposed route <br /> Project scheduling <br /> The estimate does NOT include the following: <br /> • underground sprinkler system repair and/or replacement; <br /> • possible additional costs incurred due to soil conditions that might impair the <br /> installation of underground facilities such as rock formations; <br /> . delay time for Xcel Energy crews as the result of actions or decisions made by the City <br /> or other parties; <br /> • relocation of night watch lights; <br /> • repair and/or replacement of customer-owned underground facilities not exposed at the <br /> time service is installed; and <br /> any streetlight improvements and/or additions. <br /> Transfer of Customers to Underground Service <br /> Xcel Energy has no authority to compel customers to transfer to underground service. <br /> Property owners must voluntarily agree to convert to underground electric service. It is <br /> our understanding that the City will be responsible for the conversion coordination and <br /> the payment of underground electric service conversion costs for the residential <br /> customers along County Road C. The conversion work will need to be completed by a <br /> private electrical contractor and those costs are not included in this estimate. We <br /> recommend that the City contract with one electrical company to complete the <br /> conversion work for this project.
