JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT <br /> FOR THE CITY OF OAKDALE'S PART-TIME <br /> UTILIZATION OF A CITY OF ROSEVILLE EMPLOYEE <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, entered into by and between the CITY OF ROSEVILLE, a <br /> Minnesota municipal corporation, and the CITY OF OAKDALE, a Minnesota municipal <br /> corporation, is effective upon the execution of this Agreement by the named officers of both <br /> cities. <br /> RECITALS <br /> WHEREAS, Oakdale is in need of additional support services; and <br /> WHEREAS, Roseville has management information system and other technical <br /> employees that are able to provide the services required by Oakdale; and <br /> WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 471.59 authorizes political subdivisions of the State to <br /> enter into Joint Powers Agreements for the joint exercise of powers common to each. <br /> W <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, it is mutually stipulated and agreed to as follows: <br /> 1. SERVICES. <br /> A. The City of Roseville shall provide qualified management information systems <br /> employees ("Employees") to perform computer and related technical services required by the <br /> City of Oakdale. These services include the following: <br /> ❑ Ongoing network maintenance, security, and upgrades. <br /> ❑ System integration/installation of new software. <br /> ❑ Hardware maintenance and configuration. <br /> ❑ Desktop technical support for issues not resolvable in-house. <br /> ❑ Hosting of website and city e-mail. <br />
