LETTER of AGREEMENT Organization: City of Roseville Friends of the oval, a nonprofit corporation Consulting Firm. Aspire Development Services, Inc. To: Bob Bierscheid, Roseville Parks and Recreation Director Aspire Development Services is prepared to provide speci ali zed fund raising services to the City of Roseville and Friends of the Oval for: corporate solicitation and foundation solicitation for ® capital funds for the construction and furnishing of the proposed ice arena. The target goal of this project is $1.65 million. Aspire Development services will .provide consultation services in the areas outlined above. These services will include develop - vent of a case statement, prospect research and identification in cooperation with Roseville Parks and Recreation and where appro� pri ate in cooperation also with Friends of the Oval. Aspire Development Services will, on behalf of the project, male presen- tations and solicitations to qualified prospects based on the case statement of the campaign and information provided by Roseville Parks and Recreation. Aspire Development services will provide all of the services appropriate for major gifts solicitation of corporations and foun- dations. These services include face-to-face solicitations , grant writing, prospect identification and research as well as assistance in final gift negotiations, The contract period will run - 12 months beginning December 1, 1992, ending November 30, 1993. The fee for service will be 10% of the amount raised for the project provided Aspire Development Services is actively involved in the solicitation of the gift received. Billing for services rendered will be made as actual payment is received by the city of Roseville or Friends of the Oval, regardless of the status of this contract, not as pledges are made. The customary retainer is waived,, The contract includes unlimited telephone consultation. Aspire Development Services shall not be entitled to any fees paid based upon commit - ments made after 2 years from the date of termination of this agreement.
