In order to begin the master planning process with the panel in place, the staff suggests that the <br />Mayor and Council divide the responsibilities for Ending Panel members. One method would be: <br />Each couneilr'nember to nominate two panel members from one of the four <br />neighborhoods. (Staff has indicated the neighborhood each councllmember is <br />responsible for recruiting panel members from based on an alphabetical, clock- <br />wise designation. If Council doesn't like this arbitrary approach, Council <br />members could work out among themselves which neighborhood they would <br />handle. ) [Note: Because of the Council vacancy created by the election of <br />ouncilmernber Klausing as Mayor, durinp, January the Council may consist of <br />the Mayor and only three other Council members.
