Financial Implications <br />The proposed amendment will alloy two of the members to reach top pay sooner due to <br />more junior sergeant that has more longevity and thus is being paid at a higher rate. One <br />will reach top pay 17 monk sooner at an anticipated cost of $1,621 and the other will <br />receive an adjustment for 10 months at an anticipated cost of $485. Thus the total impact <br />would be approximately 2,100. <br />Council Action requested <br />Motion to approve the amendment to appendix A — wages of the 2003 collective <br />bargaining agreement with the Teamsters, and directing staff to execution the <br />amendment. <br />2 <br />
